Moissac, ville phare du territoire, reconnue pour son patrimoine notoire de l\u2019Abbaye Saint-Pierre de Moissac class\u00e9e au Patrimoine de l\u2019Humanit\u00e9 de l\u2019UNESCO, s\u2019inscrit dans un paysage de fruitiers et de vignes produisant le \u00ab Chasselas \u00bb, raisin blanc de table d\u2019une finesse exquise. Ce raisin fut le premier fruit \u00e0 obtenir en 1971, une Appellation d&rsquo;Origine Contr\u00f4l\u00e9e (AOC) et cela gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019implication et \u00e0 la dext\u00e9rit\u00e9 des producteurs locaux o\u00f9 \u00ab \u00e9pamprer, \u00e9bourgeonner, \u00e9brindiller, \u00e9cimer, fl\u00e9cher et ciseler \u00bb \u00e0 la main, sont des t\u00e2ches saisonni\u00e8res qui font la pr\u00e9ciosit\u00e9 des grappes de Chasselas. Moissac, ville historique o\u00f9 se c\u00f4toient patrimoine culturel mat\u00e9riel et immat\u00e9riel, est labellis\u00e9e \u00ab Ville Pays d\u2019Art et d\u2019Histoire \u00bb, \u00ab Site Remarquable du Go\u00fbt \u00bb, et se distingue depuis le Moyen-\u00e2ge pour son raisin de consommation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le raisin Chasselas de Moissac est appr\u00e9ci\u00e9 pour ses qualit\u00e9s gustatives, craquant au go\u00fbt de miel, pour la rondeur et l&rsquo;\u00e9piderme dor\u00e9 de ses grains et enfin pour sa culture \u00ab raisonn\u00e9e \u00bb au titre d\u2019une agriculture durable.
